NuFields had an unlikely start when it was founded by Denis in 2020.
The Nufields journey began as an indoor vertical microgreen farm, set up in a spare bedroom in Denis's house in Howth, Co. Dublin. The original plan was to supply restaurants with top quality, hyperlocal produce grown in their own communities. When Covid hit and restaurants closed, this all changed.
Following on from the need for people to be responsible for their own food sources, now more than ever, they condensed their commercial growing techniques and knowledge into an easy to follow kit. The kit produces restaurant standard, incredibly healthy microgreens all from your own windowsill.
Crops can be ready to harvest in as little as 7 days and are loaded with vitamins and minerals. Some varieties are up to 40 times more nutrient dense than their fully grown mature counterparts.
They want to bring the farm into people’s homes and allow everyone to grow healthy, abundant amounts of food no matter where you live.
