At Clonakilty Chocolate, we make chocolate that is good – for our bodies & our communities. Allison Roberts has been working with chocolate since age 12, so starting up Clonakilty Chocolate was yet another incarnation of the passion she has for working with cocoa. We start by sourcing Fairtrade cocoa beans and combine them with healthy, ethical sweeteners by roasting, cracking, winnowing, refining, tempering and experimenting with flavour combinations. Especially proud to be making unique blends such as goats' milk with coconut sugar as well as pure 100% cocoa bars, we have set ourselves apart as being innovators in our industry. We host regular workshops, educating and spreading our love for the wonderfully nutritious, historically honoured cocoa bean.
