Bigjigs

BigJigs is still a family-run operation (pictured here are the Ireland family) with the mission  'to deliver quality, safe and affordable products which are responsibly sourced and complement childhood development through fun, exploration and learning'. Their toys are now mainly made in Asia in ethically run facilities which are visited regularly by Liz Ireland to make sure things are up to standard. The toys are mainly made with Rubberwood (a waste product from the rubber industry and would otherwise be burnt) with some FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) wood in their products. They are working towards zero plastic in their packaging (and have nearly reached this point), all packaging is recyclable and have various other eco-conscious projects on the go i.e. solar powered offices, using recycled cardboard and soy inks etc.
