I'm Jane MacCarthy, a designer maker from Cork, and I fit my creating around being a mother to my two children.I have recently moved home after living in the UK. I have a graphic design background and started out by designing my own cards to give to family and friends which has now grown into my etsy shop. I have since started designing a range of earrings, brooches, pins and necklaces all made with shrink plastic.

All my items are handmade from start to finish. The process starts with a drawing which is then transferred onto computer, it then gets printed onto shrink plastic sheets, cut out and shrunk in the oven. Next they are glittered and glazed and the final step is gluing on the backs. I also design cards and badges.

I take inspiration from my cats, animals, birds and I love colour.
